  Fundraiser for Village Family in Nepal

We have a really awesome group of friends that have been missionaries in Nepal for the last four years. A few years ago there was a family who walked 3.5 hours from Mirge to the village our friends were in to see what this "Jesus thing" was all about.  They gave their lives to the Lord. In the meantime, there was an earthquake that tainted the fresh water sources in their home village of Mirge. After some water testing, it was discovered that the only clean water was located in an underground spring on this newly converted family's property. So, our group purchased a water well system and installed it on their land to supply fresh water to the village of Mirge.

The week before Labor Day, the family's home was distroyed in a landslide. Although the family has lost their home and possessions, they are thankful they were able to escape with their lives.  They are living in a tent still witnessing their faith. We have been in contact with local workers who say the house can be rebuilt and the water well can be repaired for about $6000.

It is on our hearts to help raise the money to restore this family. Please jump in with us. The missionaries will be returning to Nepal Oct 12th. Thanks for joining us in the joy of helping.
